Today I added a section to this website to contain information about the small programs which I write on occasion. My main motivation for this was because I started to be frequently asked about my Master Levels for Doom 2 patch. It's a bit plain as of this writing, but once I find the time I'll put more stuff on that page.

I just got commit access for ZDoom, so as far as I can tell I'm now officially a ZDoom developer! This doesn't mean much in the way of what I'll be working on since I told Randy that my interest is still SBarInfo. I'm just hoping that having commit access will allow my changes to get in faster and possibly do more of them.
Resigned from Simple Doom Editor 2010-04-12 21:51:58
I have formally resigned from the Simple Doom Editor. The biggest reason for this is that Slade 3.0 has been coming along quite nicely so my primary motive of bringing Doom editing to Linux is basically gone. That leaves the C++ port of the dialog editor, but I am considering learning wxWidgets and possibly contributing to Slade.
Doomseeker 0.5 Beta Released 2010-03-17 01:35:59
Today I finished releasing Doomseeker 0.5 Beta. The rather short announcement can be read at Skulltag.net.
I've also recently whipped up a quick program to compile Strife dialogs (no gui) called "Universal Strife Dialog Compiler". This uses the standard USDF dialogs and converts them to the old format as well as possible. Version 1.1 can be found here.
In addition development of BitOwl Application Suit 2.0 has been coming along quite well. I've just finished the Gallery script for School so I believe it's almost at feature parity to Application Suit 1.0. Pretty much all I really need to do is get the installer working which I might do over spring break, though honestly I'm more leaning towards more work on ECWolf. We'll see.
That's about all that has happened since my last news post. Things have been a little chaotic with the server move and homework overload, but everything has slowed down for now. Hopefully it will last.
